Estate Recovery

Find out what you actually own, what you're actually paying for, and who actually owns it.

Sound familiar?

It stays invisible until someone asks a question nobody can answer.

Most companies past a few years old are running systems nobody documented, paying vendors nobody chose, and relying on access only one person has. It usually comes to light when the person who held it in their head leaves. We go in, find all of it, write it down, and then work through it.

  • Your CIO, CTO or lead engineer left and took the knowledge with them
  • Finance has found software spend nobody can explain or cancel
  • You're raising, selling or acquiring, and diligence wants an inventory you don't have
  • A security review, insurance renewal or compliance deadline needs answers you can't give
  • Contracts keep auto-renewing because nobody knows the notice periods
  • Critical access sits with one person, or with someone who has already left

Phase 1: Estate Audit

£9,500 fixed price, 3-4 weeks

A fixed-price, fixed-length piece of work with documents at the end of it. No open-ended discovery, no day-rate drift.

  • Vendor and contract register: who, what it costs, who owns it, renewal date, notice period
  • Systems inventory, including the shadow IT nobody told you about
  • Access and key-person risk register: what breaks, and who it breaks with
  • Findings ranked by annual cost and by risk, with the evidence behind each one
  • A sequenced remediation plan you can hand to anyone, including us
  • A walkthrough session with you and whoever else needs to hear it

The audit is normally self-funding: cancelling the contracts it finds tends to cover the fee inside the first year. The registers are yours whether or not you carry on with us.

Phase 2: Remediation Retainer

From £2,400 a month

The plan doesn't execute itself, and in most companies nobody has the time or the standing to push it through. A retainer buys a fixed number of days each month to work the list: closing contracts, consolidating vendors, documenting systems, transferring ownership, and telling people plainly when something needs to stop.

TierDays a monthMonthly
Steady2£2,400
Active4£4,600
Intensive8£8,800

Minimum term 3 months, then 30 days' notice either way. Unused days don't roll over. Work is logged against the remediation plan, so you can see what moved each month.

How the audit runs

3-4 weeks from kick-off to walkthrough. Larger or multi-site estates are quoted separately.

  1. Week 1

    Access and interviews

We agree the scope, get read access to the invoices and admin consoles, and talk to the people who know where things are.

  2. Weeks 1–3

    Collection

Every vendor, licence, login and system goes into the registers, with its owner, its cost and its renewal date.

  3. Week 3

    Findings

Each finding is ranked by what it costs a year and by what breaks if it goes wrong, with the evidence behind it.

  4. Weeks 3–4

    Plan and walkthrough

A sequenced remediation plan, walked through with you. The registers and the plan are yours to keep.

Read access to invoices, the card statements software is paid from, and the admin consoles of the systems you know about, plus an hour or two with the people who hold the history. We find the rest from there.

Yes. The registers and the remediation plan are yours to keep, and the plan is written so anyone can pick it up: your own team, another supplier, or us.

Often, yes. The retainer is for when nobody inside has the time or the standing to push it through, and someone needs to close contracts and tell people plainly when something has to stop.
