Liftoff Order Terms

Innovective Ltd

Last updated: 28 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-28.1

These terms apply when you order a Liftoff or Liftoff Plus website from us online, and to any monthly plan you take with it. They sit alongside our Terms and Conditions; where the two differ, these terms apply to your Liftoff order. The product information sums up the same points before you order. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

1. Who We Are

1.1 We are Innovective Ltd ("Innovective", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales under number 15737904. Our registered office is Forma House, 40 Bowling Green Lane, London EC1R 0NE, United Kingdom.

1.2 You can contact us by email at [email protected], through the Innovective portal, or by writing to us at our registered office. We will contact you at the email address you gave when you ordered.

1.3 Some of these terms differ depending on whether you order as a consumer (a private individual acting wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession) or as a business. Where they do, the clause says so.

2. What You're Buying

2.1 We design, build and launch a static marketing website for your business and set up the essentials around it. Liftoff includes a website of up to 5 pages and:

  • Your own domain, set up properly;
  • Business email on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365;
  • Found by Google, with privacy-friendly analytics;
  • Privacy policy, terms and cookie notice;
  • A handover call and a technologist to ask.

2.2 Liftoff Plus includes everything in Liftoff, plus:

  • Help structuring your copy, page by page;
  • Up to 10 pages;
  • A simple blog or news section;
  • 30 days of unlimited small changes after launch.

2.3 The Liftoff page describes each tier in full. The tier you order is the one described there when you paid.

2.4 The following aren't part of either tier. We will quote for any of them separately if you ask, and nothing is added to your order unless you accept that quote:

  • Logo and brand design;
  • Writing your copy from scratch;
  • Online shops and payments;
  • Customer logins and accounts;
  • Custom web applications;
  • Advertising campaigns;
  • Google Analytics.

3. Your Content and the Timeline

3.1 You provide the words, images and other material for your site ("your content"). With Liftoff Plus we help you structure your copy page by page; writing it from scratch is quoted separately.

3.2 Liftoff is live within 5 working days, and Liftoff Plus within 10 working days, counted from when we have all your content. If content arrives in parts, the count starts when the last part arrives. If we need something from you to finish (an answer, an approval, access to an account), the count pauses until we have it.

3.3 You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything you send us, and that publishing it won't infringe anyone's rights. We may decline to publish material we reasonably believe is unlawful.

3.4 Until launch the site lives on a private preview address of ours, where you can review it before it goes live.

4. Price and Payment

4.1 Liftoff costs £1,950 and Liftoff Plus costs £3,250, each a one-off price. No VAT is charged: Innovective isn't VAT-registered.

4.2 You pay 50% by card when you order (£975 for Liftoff, £1,625 for Liftoff Plus), through our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your card details. The contract between us is made when that payment goes through.

4.3 The balance (£975 or £1,625) is due at launch. We send you a payment request when the site goes live, payable within 14 days.

5. Running Costs

5.1 Your domain, your email licences (Google Workspace or Microsoft 365), hosting and any paid tools are not part of Liftoff's price. They are set up in your name and billed to you directly by their providers, at cost, with no mark-up from us. We never pay them on your behalf.

5.2 A domain renews every year. Most .com and .co.uk names cost around £10–£20 a year, but a name someone already owns can cost hundreds or thousands to buy from them. We tell you the price before you commit to a name. Email licences are charged per person, per month.

5.3 Hosting is charged by how much visitors download, so a site serving a lot of its own video or large downloads costs more; we tell you before building one. Some of the tools we set up are on their providers' free plans. Those plans are the providers' own, and they may change or withdraw them.

5.4 The providers set and change their own prices and terms, and your accounts with them are contracts between you and them. The figures we give are typical prices when we last checked, not a promise.

6. What You Own

6.1 Your domain is registered in your name from the day we set it up. It is yours whatever happens, including if this contract ends early.

6.2 Your content stays yours throughout.

6.3 When the full price has been paid, the site's design and code are yours, and you may keep, change, move or reuse them however you like. Open-source software and fonts the site uses stay under their own licences, which allow this.

6.4 We may show the finished, public site in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

7. Changes After Launch

7.1 A small change is new text, a swapped image, a changed link or contact detail, or a minor layout tweak. New pages, features and redesigns are not small changes, and we quote for them separately.

7.2 Liftoff Plus includes unlimited small changes for the first 30 days after launch.

7.3 You are welcome to edit the site yourself. If something you changed needs fixing, we fix it and charge for the time.

8. Monthly Plans

8.1 You choose a plan for after launch:

  • Self-managed: £0 a month. You run it yourself.
  • Keep-alive: £49 a month. We keep it running.
  • Care: £149 a month. We keep it running and up to date.
  • Founder's tech friend: from £450 a month. A senior technologist on your side.

8.2 The Keep-alive, Care, Founder's tech friend plans are billed a month in advance, starting at launch. Paying a year up front costs 10 months' price. The Founder's tech friend plan's price is agreed with you before it starts.

8.3 The Care plan includes up to about 1 hour a month of small changes and questions. Time that isn't used doesn't roll over. Work beyond what a plan includes is billed for the time, and we tell you before we start it.

8.4 You can leave a monthly plan by giving us 30 days' notice through the portal or by email. A plan paid a year ahead runs to the end of the year and simply isn't renewed; that year's payment isn't refunded for leaving part-way through.

8.5 On a paid plan we keep hosting running and watch your domain and certificate renewal dates, and we check the card on your provider accounts is there to cover them. The renewals themselves are paid by you, as in clause 5.

9. Documentation and Handover

9.1 From day one we keep written documentation of how your site and accounts fit together. It is yours. If you leave a plan or hire your own team, you can take the documentation and the account logins at no charge and run things yourself.

9.2 Handing over in person is optional. For £350 we transfer the accounts to your CTO or developer, walk them through everything in a one-hour call, and answer their questions by email for 30 days.

10. Cancelling

10.1 If you order as a consumer, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you the right to cancel within 14 days of the day the contract is made, without giving any reason. To cancel, sign in to the Innovective portal with the email address you paid with and cancel your order there, or tell us in writing (you may use the model form below, but you don't have to).

10.2 We won't start work during those 14 days unless you expressly ask us to when you order. If you cancel before we've started, we refund everything you paid within 14 days. If you asked us to start early and then cancel, we charge a fair proportion of the price for the work done up to the time you told us, and refund the rest within 14 days. If the work is finished within the 14 days at your request, you lose the right to cancel once it's finished.

10.3 If you order as a business, you can cancel before we start work and we refund everything you paid. After work has started, you can still end the build by telling us in writing; we keep the deposit to cover the work done, and no balance is due.

10.4 Unfinished work isn't handed over when an order is cancelled: the charge covers the work carried out, not the partial result. Your domain and any accounts already in your name stay yours.

10.5 We may cancel your order if you don't send your content within 3 months of ordering, after reminding you at least twice. We then keep a fair proportion of the deposit for the work done and refund the rest.

11. Quality and Responsibility

11.1 We build your site with reasonable care and skill, within a reasonable time. If anything falls short, tell us and we will put it right; where that isn't possible, you are entitled to a price reduction. If you are a consumer, these are your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

11.2 We aren't responsible for outages, price changes or other failings of the providers whose services your site and accounts run on (your registrar, Google or Microsoft, Amazon Web Services and the others), or for problems caused by changes made by you or someone else you have given access to.

11.3 If you order as a business, the limits on liability in our Terms and Conditions apply. If you order as a consumer, they don't, and we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.

11.4 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

12. Your Information

12.1 We use the details you give when you order to build your site, set up your accounts, and bill and support you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Complaints and the Law

13.1 If you are unhappy with anything we have done, please email us at [email protected] and we will try to put it right.

13.2 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts, and the mandatory consumer protections of the law where you live still apply.

13.3 The version of these terms that applies to your order is the one in force when you paid. We record which version that was against your order.
